We\u00a0encourage junior membership at Southport,\u00a0<\/span>as <\/span>they\u00a0<\/span>are the future of our Club.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As the leading member owned club on the Gold Coast, Southport is a leader in junior development. We invite beginners to Sunday morning clinics starting from 7:30 am. (Bookings essential)<\/p>\n

The 3 level program encourages the \u00a0juniors to work there way up the levels to gain course access and potentially membership.<\/p>\n

The Junior golfers will be guided by Head PGA Professional Ben Campbell who has over 15 years\u2019 experience and Mitch Wilson who has just completed his PGA traineeship and is now a full vocational PGA member.\u00a0The Team encourages juniors to come down and have a go in our fun and relaxed environment.<\/p>\n

The next step for junior golfers \u00a0is to reach a level of proficiency where they can become a junior member. Once a member, a \u201cGA \u201chandicap can be obtained then club and junior\u00a0competition can begin. This allows juniors to partake in club events and use the outstanding facilities the club has to offer.<\/p>\n

\nThe more advanced junior golfers are invited to play in our junior Inter-Club and Pennant competitions. These are for juniors with varying degrees of skill, and we\u00a0introduce the \u00a0juniors to Match play competition which \u00a0is an exciting and challenging format.<\/p>\n

730am- level 2<\/p>\n

830am-level 1<\/p>\n

Junior weekday clinics<\/b><\/p>\n

Tuesday 4pm- 5pm<\/p>\n

Thursday 4pm-5pm<\/p>\n

Bookings essential as class sizes are capped<\/p>\n
